About Nigel Preston

Nigel Preston is a self-confessed 'HPV Tragic'. After 'catching the bug' from his older brother, Nigel helped launch the RACV Energy Breakthrough program at Eaglehawk Secondary College with his dad and some mates way back in 1998. He participated in the RACV Energy Breakthrough for four years before volunteering to help with the event commitee after he finished his VCE in 2001. He's been helping out ever since. Nigel has been a part of teams that have taken line honours at the RACV Energy Breakthrough in 2000 and 2001 (Bendigo Senior SC) and the Australian International Pedal Prix 2003, 2004 and 2009 (Bendigo Youth Racing).

We're getting pretty excited here in Maryborough - the home of the RACV Energy Breakthrough - and are looking forward to welcoming you. We've noticed though, that our schools and teams have been getting pretty excited themselves and sharing this excitement with their local media and through social media.

Earlier this year, we opened a survey calling for past participants, teachers and team managers to share their Energy Breakthrough experience with us via a survey. (That call for stories is still open, by the way, with our past participant survey and past school leader surveys are still taking responses). As part of the call out, two RACV Accommodation Vouchers valued at $250 each were offered as prizes for submissions received before 30 September. So, drumroll please! The winners of our Survey competition are …
